Jotirao Fule Samajkarya Mahavidyalaya is a private aided affiliated college in Umred, District Nagpur in the Maharashtra state. Jotirao Fule Samajkarya Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1994 and got affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur in year 1994. The college is co-educational by its nature. The college has a sum of 8.5 acres of land and the college premises is build within 11000 square meters.

3-year degree course

is a post-graduation course in the field of social work which is usually of two-years duration. Aspirants can pursue MSW course after completing a Bachelor degree. The career in social work is all about giving and helping others in need.

Following the teachings of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Krantisurya Jotiba Phule, education is an effective weapon of social change. Education makes a person aware of his duties and rights. Education is required to cultivate the qualities of wisdom, chivalry, and compassion. Students who acquire this knowledge for the benefit of society should fulfill their duty of social commitment properly and completely.

The slogan of our college is 'तमसो मा ज्योतिरगमय'. Innumerable tormented by the brilliance of talent, 'Jotirao Fule Samajkarya Mahavidyalaya' is a platform for students' overall progress. Through our college of social work, the wind of progress and knowledge will blow in the minds of every student to reach the last element of society and make the whole world happy.
